"Spielberg has fashioned a whiz-bang thrill ride that's largely faithful to the wholesome spirit of his source but still appealing to younger, Tintin-challenged auds." — Leslie Felperin, Variety

"Action-packed, gorgeous, and faithfully whimsical." — Ian Nathan, Empire Magazine

"The Adventures of Tintin comes at you in a whoosh, like a volcano full of creative ideas in full eruption... It hits home for the kid in all of us who wants to bust out and run free." — Peter Travers, Rolling Stone

Director Steven Spielberg takes on the tale of the legendary Tintin (Jamie Bell) with a script by Edgar Wright (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World) and Steven Moffat (Sherlock). Follow along as the intrepid young reporter in relentless pursuit of a good story gets thrust into a world of high adventure. Kidnapped and thrown aboard the SS Karaboudjan, Tintin and his faithful Wire Fox Terrier, Snowy, team up with the ship's captain, Sir Francis Haddock (Andy Serkis), on a treasure hunt for a sunken ship commanded by the captain's ancestor, but they are in hot pursuit by the menacing collector Ivan Ivanovitch Sakharine (Daniel Craig).
